Hi John - "Interesting" in a good way??? If so, thank you, and not, well.......Anyway, I took this photo at Willamette Valley Vineyards (South of Salem) at the end of the day. I was shooting SW and it was a very gray afternoon. I went to take photos of grapes on the vine, but was too late - there was a major rain storm coming in and they were able to harvest everything before I could get there.
I formatted this shot in order to use the sky-field for a Thanksgiving poem that a friend had given to our family years ago. My original post of this pic is called 'Autumn Fade' but it was too dark when I printed it out.
It is obviously a manipulation of a photo, and that seems to be what I like to do with the images I take. I am not a great photographer and I really like the manipulated effect of something that is real - if that make any sense!!! I am learning how to 'Paint' with the mouse and added a touch of red to the trees in the foreground as they lost the color while adjusting everything else.
I am self-taught, and slowly learning what can be done, and find this to be a wonderful way to get back into art!
